We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile SAP Architect to lead cross-functional SAP initiatives within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across SAP modules, integration architecture, analytics/reporting, and testing, while also being confident in client-facing roles, including running workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP Architecture & Functional Leadership
- Design and oversee end-to-end SAP S4 architecture across modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HR, BW, etc.)
- Provide functional guidance and solutioning across SAP processes and banking-specific use cases
- Familiarity with S4 Hana tables and Data models along with configurations in FI CO Cash management. Concur and Ariba knowledge would be a bonus.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements
- Integration & Technical Oversight
- Experience in SAP integration strategy and functional specifications (SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs, middleware)
- Collaborate with non-SAP systems (e.g., Front Office, data warehouses, fintech platforms)
- Ensure secure and scalable data flows across systems from transformation phases to production
- Analytics & Reporting
- Define and implement reporting solutions using SAP BW/4HANA, SAC, Datasphere, or embedded analytics
- Support regulatory and operational reporting needs, Familiarity with FIORI Apps
- Collaborate with data teams to ensure data quality and governance
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Define SIT/UAT strategy and oversee execution
- Support defect triage and resolution across functional and technical teams
- Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases
- Client Engagement & Workshops
- Lead client workshops to gather requirements, present solutions, and drive consensus
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and delivery teams
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- 10+ years SAP experience across multiple modules and project phases
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration, and analytics
- Experience in banking or financial services domain
- Proven ability to lead workshops and engage with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, or equivalent tools
