Role Overview: Client seeks a highly experienced Azure Platform Engineer with architect-level capabilities and a strong DevOps mindset to design, lead, and evolve enterprise cloud solutions for Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep technical expertise and excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills. As a key contributor to CLIENT's cloud transformation journey, you will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure leads to build secure, scalable, and automated platforms that meet business and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Architecture & Delivery
- Architect and deliver robust, secure, scalable Azure platforms aligned with CLIENT's cloud strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Design cloud landing zones, subscription models, and core services, including networking, identity, monitoring, and governance.
- Drive platform automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Bicep.
- DevOps and Automation
- Implement and advocate DevOps practices like CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure automation, and environment consistency.
- Build and maintain deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Enhance platform stability with self-healing patterns and automated remediation.
- Governance, Security & Compliance
- Enforce Azure governance through Management Groups, Policies (including DENY effects), RBAC, and tagging strategies.
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices and ensure platform compliance with CLIENT's internal standards and industry regulations.
- Enable and support Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Conditional Access, and Zero Trust controls.
