The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.
β’ Understand our existing data and architecture deeply (granular level).
β’ Design Business Object, Canonical and Semantic Models at the enterprise and/or individual line of business and/or product level.
β’ Be responsible for the development of the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, the implementation of RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms.
β’ Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimization of data query performance via best practices. The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively.
β’ Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
β’ Be able to make presentations to senior management.
β’ Contribute to the development of the Data Modeling teamβs tools, skills, culture, and impact.
Skills
- 10+ years of extensive work experience in various data modeling techniques (relational, data warehouse, semi-structured, etc.), application development, advanced data querying skills.
- 10+ years of programming experience in SQL.
- Ability to interpret complex data requirements and architect solutions.
- Experience with SAP Power Designer or a similar data modeling tool.
- Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse is a plus.
- Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship-building skills, across all levels of management.
- Understanding of ACORD Insurance Reference architecture is a plus.
