An ambitious civil engineering company is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join a growing organisation delivering projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate project activities, manage risks, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple UK-based projects simultaneously from planning through to completion.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide accurate reporting to senior management.
- Manage project risks, issues, and change control processes.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support commercial activities including procurement, cost control, and forecasting.
- Proven experience in a Project Manager role delivering projects within the UK.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project delivery teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
- PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification.
- Experience working within engineering, construction, infrastructure, civils, or related sectors.
- Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and project governance requirements.
