A highly reputable and growing main contractor is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to lead a high-profile residential scheme in West London, with a project value of £150m.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and an excellent reputation for delivering bespoke projects on time and within budget, this contractor offers a genuine opportunity to take full ownership of schemes and play a key role in the company’s continued growth.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for your project from pre-construction through to handover. You will be the number one on site, driving programme, quality, commercial performance, and health & safety standards. You will work closely with the Contracts Director and lead a dedicated site team to ensure successful delivery across all stages of the build.
Key Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle management of projects from inception to completion
- Leading and coordinating site teams including Engineers, Foremen, and subcontractors
- Managing programme, sequencing, and weekly work schedules
- Producing regular progress reports and chairing site meetings
- Overseeing design coordination and working closely with the commercial team
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Managing client relationships and key stakeholders
- Maintaining and driving a strong Health & Safety culture across site
- Conducting statutory inspections and ensuring compliance
- Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager
About You
- 4–5+ years’ experience in a senior construction management role with a main contractor
- Proven track record delivering residential and/or commercial projects
- Experience managing projects of significant value (£50m+)
- Strong leadership and man-management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- Commercially aware with a results-driven mindset
- Able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
