A fast-growing main contractor with a number of live projects in London and the Southeast is seeking a Site Manager on a permanent or freelance basis for a large Cut & Carve scheme in London's Belgravia. You will oversee projects from demolition through to completion, ensuring the project stays on schedule and budget. You will chair and attend progress meetings with trade contractors.
Candidates must have a proven track record as a Site Manager on large-scale projects involving demolition, facade, and fit-out. This is an excellent opportunity to progress with one of the UK’s rapidly growing contractors. The ideal Site Manager will have experience with Main Contractors and a solid background in large-scale projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing employees, subcontractors, and materials to ensure safe and effective contract delivery
- Ensuring works are carried out efficiently to achieve optimal commercial results
- Completing works to quality standards and in compliance with specifications
- Implementing Quality Management Systems, including environmental procedures
- Ensuring adequate resources are allocated for contracts
- Holding contract review and coordination meetings with subcontractors
- Completing performance reviews and personal development plans for team members
