We are currently searching for a Senior Site Manager to join one of the UK’s busiest Main Contractors. This company specialises in the residential sector and delivers high rise private residential, student accommodation and hotel schemes.
This project will see the delivery of over 800 PBSA units across two new build adjoining blocks. The mezzanine level will also facilitate various amenities and commercial space.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day site operation, reporting to a Senior Project Manager.
The role:
- Project Planning & Scheduling – Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and set milestones.
- Budget Management – Estimate costs, control expenses, and ensure projects stay within budget.
- Contract & Compliance Oversight – Manage contracts, permits, and ensure legal/regulatory compliance.
- Team Coordination – Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Risk Management – Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure site safety.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication – Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Quality Control – Ensure work meets industry standards, specifications, and client expectations.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting – Track project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Required:
- Applicants must have experience on all construction phases.
- Experience delivering mid/high rise RC Frame schemes is essential.
- Experience delivering residential projects is also essential with Student Accommodation experience being further beneficial.
- Must hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
