A leading engineering and construction company is seeking an experienced Project Director with a strong CSA background to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Slough.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering complex, high-value mission critical infrastructure projects within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of project delivery from early stages through to completion, ensuring the highest standards across safety, quality, programme, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Project Director will play a key role in leading project teams, managing stakeholders, and driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of a large-scale data centre project
- Oversee operational, commercial, programme, and technical performance throughout the project lifecycle
- Build, manage, and develop high-performing project teams
- Drive project planning, execution, and delivery in line with client expectations
- Ensure quality management processes are implemented from project commencement through to handover
- Maintain strong focus on health & safety across all site activities and supply chain partners
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Lead regular project reviews, including programme, risk, and commercial performance
- Support resource planning and recruitment activities where required
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects in a senior leadership capacity
- Strong CSA construction background
- Background working with a main contractor or specialist contractor environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capability
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Track record of delivering complex projects safely and successfully
