The Role

Reporting to the Regional Director, you'll have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring programme, commercial, quality and safety objectives are achieved throughout every stage of construction.

You'll provide the strategic link between the design, commercial and operational teams.

As the senior lead on site, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary client-facing representative throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure programme, quality, commercial and health & safety objectives are achieved.
  • Drive collaboration between internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Review design information, identify buildability risks and implement practical solutions.
  • Oversee subcontractors, direct labour and senior site management teams.
  • Monitor project performance, labour costs and profitability.
  • Ensure the finished product exceeds customer expectations.
  • Mentor and develop project teams while fostering a positive site culture.
  • Produce accurate progress reports and manage project risks and remedial actions.

Requirements

You’ll be an experienced Project Director, or a Senior Project Manager who has successfully led major residential developments and is ready to step into a flagship leadership role.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale residential projects valued at £100m+.
  • A strong background working for a recognised main contractor.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
  • A collaborative leadership style with an uncompromising focus on quality and delivery.

Details
