We are currently searching for a Senior Planner for one of Europe’s fastest growing general contractors in the mission critical and life sciences sectors. This business boasts over 50 years in business, a very healthy pipeline and strong turnover. They are currently going through a healthy growth phase and with that, are looking to bolster their site team for a brand new data centre project in East London.

In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous; however, candidates from other construction sectors will be considered. Project delivery ability, proven track record, detail driven personality and forward-thinking mindset is crucial.

You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practices.

Project Planner Role
  • Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works.
  • To liaise with the Client, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings.
  • Assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress.
  • Provide the planning service on tenders and projects.
  • Attend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract.
  • Monitor and prepare a progress report on the project programme.
  • Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project Team.
  • Consider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager.
  • Appraise, co-ordinate and integrate subcontract and design programmes.
  • Maintain the as-built programme.
Required
  • 3+ Years Project Planning experience with a Main Contractor.
  • Previous Data Centre/Life Sciences/Mission Critical project experience is beneficial.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera 6.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
