We are currently searching for a Health & Safety Advisor to join one of the UK’s leading Groundworks and Structures Subcontractors. This business subcontract to some of the most well-known main contractors and developers, often taking on packages in excess of £50m. This opportunity will support the production teams throughout London on their various projects and ensure they are running to the highest health & safety standards.
Role:
- Directly advise and support project teams on current and upcoming projects, putting in place various processes to maximise health & safety.
- Inform project staff of new legislations and regulations as they are introduced.
- Produce reports on site visits which can be relayed to senior management.
- Assist in the production of site H&S documentation.
- Liaise with main contractors and suppliers throughout project lifecycles.
Required:
- 2+ years’ experience working in a Health & Safety position in the construction/civil engineering industry.
- Candidates must hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum with NEBOSH Construction being preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate risks to site teams at various levels.
- Strong organisational and record keeping skills.
