Falcon Green is teaming up with an award-winning and innovative contractor, known for delivering complex, large-scale industrial projects across mainland Europe. They’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on high-spec Data Centre projects in many European locations. If you’re technically strong, proactive, and eager to grow your career in the fast-expanding Data Centre sector, this is a fantastic opportunity. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team and work closely with a top-tier client that values training, development, and career progression. The role comes with a competitive salary and benefits package, including a living-away allowance, monthly flights, travel expenses, accommodation, and healthcare. Employment will follow the host country’s local labour laws.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keeping accurate and clear project reporting to track progress and meet key milestones.
- Reviewing design and IFC drawings to fully understand the project scope.
- Leading coordination to produce accurate installation drawings, working closely with BIM teams to ensure compliance and programme alignment.
- Supporting on-site quality control, making sure all works meet technical, regulatory, and project standards.
- Reviewing subcontractor and supplier tenders to confirm they meet technical and design requirements.
- Ensuring engineering activities, including procurement, stay on track with the project programme.
- Preparing, submitting, and managing all technical submittals according to project requirements.
- Ensuring installations comply with project specifications and the QA plan.
- Coordinating subcontractor activities, maintaining progress and communication, and recording minutes from weekly meetings.
- Promoting best practices to improve project scheduling and delivery efficiency.
- Collaborating with the Project Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–7 years’ experience in electrical contracting, ideally with a recognised contractor.
- Strong organisational skills with proven experience in project planning and coordination.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Navisworks and other engineering-related database systems.
- Experience with project planning tools such as Primavera, and a solid understanding of CAD and BIM workflows.
