Opportunity for a Design Manager to join a fast-growing contractor, specialising in high-end and high-value refurbishment and fit-out projects. They are a trusted and award-winning company known for excellence in construction, turning spaces into works of art.

On this project you will be the Design lead across a £35M Cat A/B conversion of a historic building in Liverpool into an office development with a restaurant and social space within. You’ll be at the forefront of the design process from pre-construction through to handover, working alongside the Project and Commercial team to ensure the project\’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the design process from inception to completion
  • Integrating architectural vision with practical construction needs
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless design integration
  • Ensuring all design aspects align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines
  • Overseeing design-related documentation, approvals, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborating with the project management team to deliver a high-quality, innovative, and functional interiors projects

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Design Manager across Internal fit out or refurbishment projects
  • Architectural or Engineering background or relative Design qualification
  • Deep understanding of construction design processes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in design software and project management tools
