Job Description
Opportunity for a Design Manager to join a fast-growing contractor, specialising in high-end and high-value refurbishment and fit-out projects. They are a trusted and award-winning company known for excellence in construction, turning spaces into works of art.
On this project you will be the Design lead across a £35M Cat A/B conversion of a historic building in Liverpool into an office development with a restaurant and social space within. You’ll be at the forefront of the design process from pre-construction through to handover, working alongside the Project and Commercial team to ensure the project's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the design process from inception to completion
- Integrating architectural vision with practical construction needs
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless design integration
- Ensuring all design aspects align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines
- Overseeing design-related documentation, approvals, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with the project management team to deliver a high-quality, innovative, and functional interiors projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager across Internal fit out or refurbishment projects
- Architectural or Engineering background or relative Design qualification
- Deep understanding of construction design processes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in design software and project management tools
