We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a prestigious £70m residential new build project near Stratford. This is a key role focused on day-to-day senior site management, with an immediate start available on a minimum 3-month freelance contract, likely to extend. The Role: As Senior Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing key elements of the construction process, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Initial focus will be on: * Managing daily site activities and subcontractor coordination * Overseeing roofing works, SFS installation, and brickwork * Ensuring health & safety compliance across your section * Supporting the site team with quality control and progress tracking * Liaising with project managers, engineers, and supply chain teams Requirements: * Proven Senior Site Management experience on large-scale residential new builds * Strong knowledge of structural framing systems, roofing, and brickwork * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Able to start at short notice This is a great opportunity to join a major scheme with a well-regarded contractor and play a hands-on role during a critical phase of the build
