The Opportunity Bennett Construction is seeking an experienced RC Frame Manager with a strong engineering background to join the team delivering a major residential development at Silvertown, East London. As Principal Contractor, Bennett Construction is delivering 326 apartments across three residential blocks within Plot 1D2D, comprising apartment buildings ranging from six to twelve storeys alongside flexible commercial space and landscaped communal courtyards. The successful candidate will take ownership of the RC frame package, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of all structural works. This role is ideally suited to an individual who has progressed from a Site Engineer or Senior Engineer background and possesses a detailed technical understanding of reinforced concrete frame construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of all RC frame and structural works from groundworks through to superstructure completion.
- Coordinate and oversee RC frame subcontractors, engineers, temporary works, crane operations, and logistics activities.
- Review drawings, specifications, and engineering information to ensure technical compliance and buildability.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, Structural Engineers, and Commercial Team to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
- Monitor progress against programme and implement recovery plans where required.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
