We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a hotel refurbishment project in Norwich. We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Site Manager with a strong background in refurbishment, fit-out or hospitality projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the works, ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * Manage the day-to-day activities on site and coordinate subcontractors and trades. * Ensure works are completed in accordance with the programme and project specifications. * Manage health & safety on site, including RAMS, inductions and daily site operations. * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries. * Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure defects are identified and rectified. * Liaise with the Project Manager, client and other stakeholders. * Attend and contribute to site meetings. * Monitor progress against the programme and report any issues or delays. * Maintain accurate site records and documentation. * Ensure the site is kept clean, safe and organised throughout the project. * Manage works within a live hotel environment where required. Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment, fit-out or construction projects. * Previous hotel, hospitality or commercial refurbishment experience is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements and site procedures. * Excellent subcontractor and workforce management skills. * Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and programmes. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * CSCS/SMSTS and First Aid qualifications. * A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
