We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a short-term project commencing tomorrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer to support site operations on a fast-paced construction project for an initial three-week contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring all works are delivered to the required quality standards.
- Managing and maintaining accurate site records.
- Producing and reviewing as-built information.
- Supporting subcontractors and site management teams.
- Conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Assisting with site documentation, permits, and progress reporting.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering and/or construction projects.
- Competent in the use of surveying equipment including GPS and robotic total stations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- CSCS card (essential).
- SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
