A leading international engineering contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join its growing team in Spain. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale, technically complex data centre projects for some of the world's leading technology clients. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience, determination and be focused on delivering leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors, including data centre and pharmaceutical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) activities throughout project delivery.
- Manage subcontractors, consultants and specialist suppliers to ensure programme, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
- Drive commissioning, testing and handover processes in line with project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with project management, commercial and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing MEP packages on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, healthcare or other mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of commissioning and handover processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
