Job Description

Falcon Green is partnering with one of Europe’s leading M&E contractors, widely recognised for delivering large-scale industrial and commercial projects across the Data Centre, Education, Healthcare, and Life Sciences sectors. They are currently seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Mechanical Engineer to join the next phase of a major Data Centre development in Helsinki, Finland.\\n\\nWith a strong pipeline of projects secured across mainland Europe, this role offers long-term stability and excellent career progression. You will become part of a close-knit and supportive site team, with clear opportunities to advance toward senior engineering and project management roles.\\n\\nPlease note that employment will be governed by the host country’s local labour laws.\\n\\nMechanical Engineer Key Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Oversee day-to-day site activities and mechanical operations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Coordinate and manage the project programme in collaboration with other trades, package leads, consulting engineers, and client representatives.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage all cost-related aspects associated with the mechanical package.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Attend key project meetings, including site, engineering, planning, coordination, and handover meetings.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain an accurate and up-to-date weekly project log.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Work closely with subcontractors to ensure programme, quality, and safety targets are met.\\n\\nMechanical Engineer Requirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Engineering role.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A recognised engineering degree relevant to the position.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong teamwork, organisational, and planning skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Flexibility to travel as required by the project.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Eligibility to work across multiple European countries.\\n\\nWith several major projects recently secured across mainland Europe, this is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor offering long-term work and career growth.
