We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Buyer to support a large-scale Facilities Management company here in London. This role is ideal for a commercially astute procurement professional with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical packages within construction or FM environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure Mechanical & Electrical materials, plant, and subcontract packages in line with project requirements
- Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, and contract awards
- Ensure best value procurement while maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams
- Monitor budgets, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an M&E Buyer within Facilities Management, construction, or building services
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and supply chains
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills
- Ability to manage multiple packages in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in procurement systems and MS Office
- London-based or able to commute regularly
