One of London’s leading specialist fit out and construction contractors is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their growing team based in London Bridge. The business delivers high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across Central London and also operates specialist manufacturing facilities within the wider group, giving this role a varied and hands-on remit across both site and operational environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated H&S professional who is passionate about driving high standards, improving working practices, and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and operational teams, taking responsibility for monitoring health & safety compliance across active construction sites and manufacturing facilities.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out regular inspections and audits
- Producing and reviewing policies and procedures
- Supporting toolbox talks
- Investigating incidents
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Assisting with the continuous improvement of the company’s H&S systems
Applicants must have previous experience within the construction industry and hold either a NEBOSH qualification or degree equivalent within Health & Safety. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage confidently with site teams and management are essential.
This role will be based from the company’s London Bridge office with regular travel to projects across Central London and manufacturing facilities operated by the group.
