One of Europe's leading data centre contractors is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for a brand new project in The Netherlands. The Mechanical Supervisor will work for an innovative, forward-thinking contractor that operates a diverse business model. The ideal candidate will have experience, determination and be focused on delivering leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors, including data centre and pharmaceutical. This is an excellent opportunity to transfer into a booming sector and will continue to do so over the coming years. The data centre sector is the fastest growing sector in construction and the need for its infrastructure will continue to grow for many years to come. With the order book full until 2026, there is excellent scope for a high-performing Mechanical Supervisor to play a crucial part in this growth. Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager including set up, management and close out of file.
- Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements.
- Management of all day to day on site operations.
- Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings.
Mechanical Site Manager Requirements:
- An engineering qualification or relevant work experience.
- Experience managing large mechanical packages within the mission critical sector.
- Good Computer skills in word, excel etc.
- Fluent English.
- Flexible to travel.
- Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects.
