- M&E Commissioning Manager to join its growing team in
- Vienna, Austria
. Reporting to the Commissioning Lead, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of high-profile projects for some of the industry's most recognised clients.
With a strong pipeline of secured work across Europe, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that offers long-term career progression and exposure to cutting-edge data centre developments.
The successful candidate will have experience managing the commissioning process on large-scale commercial, industrial or residential projects.
While previous data centre experience would be advantageous, it is not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided to candidates with the right technical background and attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all commissioning activities on site from planning through to project completion.
- Develop, implement and manage the project commissioning plan.
- Oversee and mentor commissioning engineers and other direct reports.
- Manage the commissioning tagging process and ensure all procedures are followed.
- Monitor and report commissioning progress to both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Chair weekly commissioning meetings and coordinate daily commissioning activities.
- Lead daily whiteboard meetings to drive progress and resolve commissioning issues.
- Attend main contractor and client commissioning meetings, providing regular progress updates.
- Work closely with project planners to develop and maintain the commissioning programme.
- Ensure all commissioning personnel are accurately recorded on labour allocation trackers.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years' experience in a Commissioning Manager position on large-scale industrial, commercial or mission-critical projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services and commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of European standards, regulations and industry best practice.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
