Job Overview

A leading main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Internals Site Manager to join the team on a prestigious retirement living development in Henley-on-Thames.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-quality residential scheme, taking ownership of the internal fit-out from first fix through to handover, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and programme delivery.

The Role

  • Manage all internal trades from first fix through to completion.
  • Oversee subcontractors and coordinate daily site activities.
  • Drive programme, quality and health & safety across all internal packages.
  • Carry out inspections, snagging and defect management.
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and NHBC standards.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Design Team and Commercial Team to resolve issues and maintain progress.
  • Lead site meetings, toolbox talks and short-term planning.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Internals Site Manager on residential developments.
  • Strong knowledge of internal fit-out packages including drylining, M&E coordination, carpentry, kitchens, bathrooms, decorating and final finishes.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and delivering projects to programme.
  • Excellent quality assurance and snagging experience.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
