An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Manager to join the delivery team on a major data centre construction project in Frankfurt.
This is a senior site-based position, offering the chance to play a key leadership role on a high-profile, mission-critical project.
You will be responsible for driving health, safety and environmental performance across the site, working closely with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the project.
- Develop, implement and maintain project HSE plans, procedures and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, client requirements and industry best practice.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead incident investigations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and HSE training.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the project.
- Liaise with project management, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure HSE objectives are achieved.
- Produce regular HSE reports and monitor project performance against key safety metrics.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as an HSE Manager on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous experience on data centres, mission-critical, industrial or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation and management systems.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6, IOSH or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence teams and foster a strong safety-first culture.
