We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a six-week contract on a completed residential development in High Wycombe.
You will be taking over from an existing manager and overseeing the completion of outstanding remedial and defect works.
As the main construction phase is complete, the role will involve coordinating trades, monitoring quality and ensuring all remaining works are closed out efficiently.
Responsibilities will include
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors carrying out remedial works
- Inspecting completed work and maintaining high-quality standards
- Working through snagging and defect lists
- Monitoring health and safety across the site
- Providing regular progress updates to the project team
- Ensuring outstanding works are completed within the six-week programme
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on residential developments, ideally involving remedial works, snagging or project close-out.
Requirements
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS card
- First Aid certificate
- Previous Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager experience
- Strong finishing and quality-control experience
- Available to start Monday and commit to the full six-week assignment
