An established international engineering and construction contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Walkdown Engineer for a major pharmaceutical project in Denmark. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing project team delivering complex, technically demanding work in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with the project leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring all electrical installations and systems meet the highest quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Prepare electrical handover documentation, inspection records, test packs, and O&M manuals
- Coordinate with subcontractors and review proposed turnover/test documentation
- Review completed electrical testing documentation and compile final QA/QC records
- Issue Inspection Test Records (ITRs) to support commissioning and system turnover
- Carry out quality inspections and manage defect close-out activities
- Support commissioning teams with inspection and testing data
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and project quality standards
- Participate in inspections and meetings with regulatory authorities
- Prepare and issue final handover packages to the client
- Liaise directly with client representatives on quality and installation matters
- Attend quality meetings and contribute to progress reporting
- Conduct internal quality audits as required
Requirements
- Electrical trade qualification or Electrical Engineering degree
- Previous QA/QC experience on large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical projects
- Experience with quality auditing and inspection processes
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment
