A leading international engineering and technical services organisation is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and grow its Energy & Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division in Ireland. This is more than a traditional Contracts Manager role. It is an opportunity to take ownership of an established and growing business unit, leading a dedicated team while driving expansion across Ireland's energy infrastructure market. With the autonomy to shape the direction of the division, you will be responsible for developing client relationships, securing new projects, overseeing successful project delivery, and building a high-performing team capable of delivering complex electrical infrastructure works. Reporting to senior leadership, you will have full responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the Energy & T&D division in Ireland. Key responsibilities include: * Leading, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary team delivering high-voltage and energy infrastructure projects. * Driving business development activities and identifying opportunities to grow the division across the Irish market. * Building and maintaining strong relationships with utilities, developers, EPC contractors and key industry stakeholders. * Winning new work through strategic client engagement and commercial awareness. * Managing multiple contracts from pre-construction through to successful completion. * Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. * Taking ownership of commercial performance, including forecasting, reporting, contract administration and risk management. * Supporting tender submissions, pricing strategies and bid development. * Recruiting and developing talent as the business continues to expand. * Identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and maximise profitability. About You * You are a commercially minded leader with a strong background in electrical infrastructure and a proven ability to deliver projects while developing new business opportunities. * Extensive experience in a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, Project Director or similar senior leadership position. * A background in Transmission & Distribution, substations, utilities, renewable energy, power infrastructure or other high-voltage electrical environments. * Strong commercial and contractual management expertise. * A successful track record of winning work and building long-term client relationships. * Experience managing and developing project delivery teams. * Excellent knowledge of project controls, programme management, financial reporting and contract delivery. * Outstanding communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. * An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to grow a business and build a successful team.
