With a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail, they are now seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their team and oversee the successful delivery of prestigious residential projects.
The Role
As Construction Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of high-end residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality, programme and commercial performance.
You will work closely with the project team, architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors and clients to ensure a seamless delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the on-site delivery of high-end residential projects.
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors and specialist trades.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor construction programmes to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Ensure all works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants and project managers to resolve technical and construction issues.
- Manage subcontractor performance, procurement and sequencing of works.
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality and resources.
- Conduct regular site meetings and provide clear progress updates to the wider project team and client.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations and company procedures.
- Identify potential risks, delays and issues and implement effective solutions.
- Oversee inspections, snagging, quality control and final handover.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a professional, service-led approach throughout the project.
- Ensure the site is professionally managed and presented at all times, in keeping with the expectations of a high-end residential client.
About You
The successful candidate will have a strong background in high-end residential construction, ideally having delivered substantial luxury homes, private residences or similarly bespoke projects.
You will be an experienced construction professional with excellent organisational and leadership skills, a strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional-quality work.
You will ideally have
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager or similar within high-end residential construction.
- Experience managing complex, high-value residential projects from start through to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and residential build techniques.
- Excellent understanding of quality control and high-end finishes.
- Strong subcontractor and site-team management experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong programme and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of a project.
- High standards of professionalism, presentation and attention to detail.
- Relevant construction qualifications, such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, would be advantageous
