Overview
BIM Coordinator required to join a leading main contractor delivering industrial and commercial projects across the Southern region, with initial schemes in Brent Cross and Bedford. This role will suit someone looking to play a key part in driving digital delivery across both pre-construction and live projects, working closely with design, site, and supply chain teams. You will support the implementation of BIM processes and ensure effective coordination of models and information in line with ISO 19650 standards.
Responsibilities
- Support BIM delivery across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with Employer's Information Requirements and contributing to project reporting.
- Manage and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring information is controlled, accurate, and compliant.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary models, including clash detection, design reviews, and federated model management.
- Work closely with site teams to integrate BIM into construction delivery, including sequencing and buildability reviews.
- Engage with consultants and subcontractors to drive collaboration and improve BIM capability across the supply chain.
- Provide support and training to project teams on digital tools and model usage.
- Assist with BIM documentation, audits, and compliance with project and client requirements.
- Support project handover, including as-built models and asset information.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a BIM Coordinator or similar role within construction.
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and BIM processes.
- Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar platforms.
- Experience working with main contractors on live construction projects.
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
