About the role
Working closely with the operational team, the experienced Marketing, Events & Fundraising Manager will lead the Foundation's external engagement activities, supporting the growth, visibility and sustainability of the Foundation through marketing and communications, event planning and delivery, corporate engagement, sponsorship and fundraising activity, and community engagement.
Location: Hybrid / Remote with attendance at Foundation events, partner meetings and networking functions as required. Suited to someone London based, preferably South.
Role Type: Part-Time Contracted Position paid £1500 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Communications - Manage and develop the Foundation's marketing and communications strategy.
- Create and schedule content across social media and digital platforms.
- Develop engaging written and visual content aligned to the Foundation's mission and values.
- Coordinate announcements relating to scholarships, grants, partnerships, events and achievements.
- Produce newsletters, promotional materials and campaign content.
- Monitor analytics and engagement performance and provide reporting to Trustees.
Events Management
- Plan, coordinate and deliver Foundation events, networking sessions and fundraising initiatives.
- Manage venues, suppliers, attendee communications and event logistics.
- Coordinate volunteers and partner organisations during events.
- Represent the Foundation professionally at external events and industry functions.
Fundraising & Sponsorship
- Identify and pursue sponsorship, fundraising and donor engagement opportunities.
- Build relationships with corporate partners across STEM, Aerospace & Aviation sectors.
- Support preparation of sponsorship proposals and fundraising campaigns.
- Maintain records of sponsors, donors and fundraising activity.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Build and maintain positive relationships with sponsors, educational institutions, industry partners, volunteers and community organisations.
- Support the Foundation's objective of increasing accessibility and opportunity within STEM industries.
- Promote the Foundation professionally and ethically in line with Charity Commission expectations.

Essential
- Min 5yrs experience in marketing, communications, fundraising and/or events management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience using social media and digital marketing tools.
