Project Lead Engineer

We are looking for Project Lead Engineer to work with secured government client.

Note: Must be SC cleared

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering leadership and oversight for supplier-delivered solutions.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards and governance.
• Collaborate with the Chief Architect and Engineer on ISTAR portfolio integration.
• Lead the design, integration, and testing of scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with operational, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a technical liaison between suppliers, Defence Digital, Army teams, and stakeholders.
• Support software factory roadmap development and future contract integration.
• Manage risk, governance, documentation, and contingency planning.
• Contribute to business case development and architectural artefacts.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement within engineering teams.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Proven leadership in engineering within Aerospace, Defence, or complex environments.
• Experience delivering mission-critical, secure systems.
• Knowledge of DEF STAN, MIL-STD, NATO standards.
• Expertise in cloud architectures, cybersecurity, system integration, and software development.
• Familiarity with on-premise and deployable technologies.
• Strong background in systems engineering, hardware integration, and testing.
• Understanding of ISTAR/ISR capabilities and integrated sensor architecture (ISA) advantageous.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, VMware, API integration, KAFKA, and Systematic applications desirable.

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP (desirable).
