Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security gatehouse duties, controlling traffic and personnel entering and leaving the site.
- Conduct physical security patrols by foot.
- Carry out crime prevention activities such as routine vehicle searches.
- Perform road safety duties.
- Attend and investigate security intruder and access control alarm activations.
- Present a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at all times on the premises of our clients.
- Greeting, assisting, and directing members of the public visiting the premises of our clients.
- Conduct shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift to ensure all matters of concern or note occurring during a shift are passed on for continuity of service and incident management.
- Write complete and accurate handover and incident reports and take appropriate action as required on all reports received during or at the commencement of duty shift.
- Ensure the safety and security of the client’s buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in adherence with the Site Assignment Instructions.
- Work as part of a team to provide conflict resolution assistance at client premises where there is a potential for conflict.
- Carry out weighbridge duties including maintaining accurate records, where applicable.
- Apply IT and customer service interface skills as required.
Qualifications and Key Attributes
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Valid Front Line SIA licence.
- Valid Clean Driving Licence.
- Successful completion of security vetting processes.
- Good customer interface skills and commercial awareness.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
