Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security gatehouse duties, controlling traffic and personnel entering and leaving the site.
  • Conduct physical security patrols by foot.
  • Carry out crime prevention activities such as routine vehicle searches.
  • Perform road safety duties.
  • Attend and investigate security intruder and access control alarm activations.
  • Present a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at all times on the premises of our clients.
  • Greeting, assisting, and directing members of the public visiting the premises of our clients.
  • Conduct shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift to ensure all matters of concern or note occurring during a shift are passed on for continuity of service and incident management.
  • Write complete and accurate handover and incident reports and take appropriate action as required on all reports received during or at the commencement of duty shift.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the client’s buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in adherence with the Site Assignment Instructions.
  • Work as part of a team to provide conflict resolution assistance at client premises where there is a potential for conflict.
  • Carry out weighbridge duties including maintaining accurate records, where applicable.
  • Apply IT and customer service interface skills as required.

Qualifications and Key Attributes

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Valid Front Line SIA licence.
  • Valid Clean Driving Licence.
  • Successful completion of security vetting processes.
  • Good customer interface skills and commercial awareness.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid teamwork abilities.
  • IT and customer service interface skills essential.
