Part-time practice nurse to cover 2.5 days per week (20 hours).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing care in a mixed GMS and private practice.
  • Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Adhere to clinical governance, infection control and practice policies.
  • Supporting care for a large number of CDM patients and engaging in a very active recall system in all aspects of healthcare.
  • 24hr blood pressure monitoring, health checks.
  • Conduct smears/administer children's vaccines in line with the current vaccination programme.
  • Nursing management of diabetes/chronic respiratory disease/cholesterol testing and dietary advice.
  • Clinical stock ordering.
