Faithworks Homelessness Case Worker: 18 hours per week (Mon to Wed) Could you help someone leave homelessness behind for good? We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Case Worker to join our Half-Time team, working directly with people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, provide practical support, and help people access accommodation, benefits, healthcare, recovery services and other pathways that can transform lives. Key aspects of the role: Deliver assessments, Team Talks and person-centred casework support for guests. Support guests to access housing, benefits, healthcare, employment, training and recovery services. Work closely with local partners including statutory agencies, charities and churches. What we are looking for: Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs. Excellent listening and communication skills. The ability to build trust with people facing significant challenges. Faithworks Homelessness Welcome Worker: 2 posts: Mon-Wed, and Wed-Friday (both 18hours/week) Ready to be the welcoming face of hope? As our Welcome Worker, you will often be the first person that guests encounter when they arrive at Half-Time or engage with our homelessness services. That first conversation can make all the difference. We are looking for someone who can create a safe, compassionate and professional welcome for people experiencing homelessness and hardship, while helping them access the support they need to move forward. Key aspects of the role: Provide a welcoming and supportive first point of contact for guests, visitors and partner agencies. Working with a team of volunteers, support guests to access practical services including showers, laundry facilities, clothing and refreshments. Signpost and connect guests with caseworkers, partner agencies and wider community support. What we are looking for: Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs. A calm, compassionate and resilient approach when working with people facing crisis. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Good judgement, professional boundaries and an understanding of safeguarding.
