With support from the National Lottery Community Fund and in partnership with Bournemouth Foodbank, we are expanding our financial resilience work across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Financial Resilience Coordinator BCP to deliver money guidance activities, support volunteers and strengthen partnerships with foodbanks, churches and community organisations.
Working as part of Faithworks’ Financial Resilience team, you will help individuals and families move from financial crisis towards greater confidence and resilience, while equipping volunteers and churches to play an active role in supporting their communities.
Key aspects of the role:
- Deliver financial resilience support through money guidance and workshops
- Develop and support volunteers by recruiting, training and equipping volunteers
- Collaborate well and build strong partnerships and pathways with foodbanks, advice agencies and community organisations
What we are looking for:
- Someone with strong interpersonal skills and can build trust and positive relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- Is a confident communicator and trainer who enjoys working with groups, volunteers and community partners
- Is organised and proactive, able to coordinate activities, develop partnerships and make things happen
