Role Overview
As a Building Surveyor focusing on Fire Safety, you will collaborate closely with our clients to maintain, develop and enhance buildings that support the wellbeing of residents and the broader community. You will build long‑standing client relationships, contribute to high‑quality project delivery, and work in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit planning and building regulations applications.
- Prepare tender specifications, undertake tender analysis and produce tender reports.
- Support senior staff undertaking Party Wall duties under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
- Lead on designated projects including stock condition surveys and EPCs.
- Support Senior Surveyors with contract administration under various JCT contracts.
- Carry out inspections diligently within agreed timeframes.
- Diagnose building defects through inspections, testing and site investigations.
- Produce clear, accurate and detailed reports recommending remedial works.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
