We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the high-end commercial refurbishment and fit‑out sector, ideally within the London market. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage all commercial aspects of complex projects, including those involving significant structural alterations. A strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management principles is essential, along with excellent attention to detail, self‑motivation, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects ranging from £1M to £100M.
- Prepare and manage interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payment processes.
- Identify, value, and agree variations and change controls.
- Provide accurate forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Proactively manage commercial risks and ensure best value throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, and Clients to ensure successful project delivery.
