Quality Inspector Woking £28,000 per annum MUST HAVE: Inspection equipment including verniers, micrometres, gauges, and visual inspection techniques. Minimum of 1 year working within quality control in a manufacturing, engineering, quality, or inspection environment. Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing manufacturing business and play a key role in maintaining high standards across production. This is a hands-on role, working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to ensure products consistently meet quality requirements. You will be involved in inspections, investigating quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities Carry out goods-in, first-off, in-process and final inspections. Use inspection and measuring equipment accurately and safely. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Identify, report, and help contain non-conforming products. Investigate quality issues, support root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, warehouse, and supplier teams to resolve quality concerns. Support internal audits, quality procedures, and continuous improvement activities. Promote a proactive, right-first-time approach to quality. Key Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, quality, or inspection environment. Competent using inspection and measuring equipment. Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles. Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and a methodical approach. Good communication, reporting, and record-keeping skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and electronic quality/ERP systems
