The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Our client based in Woking is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join for adhoc days through April, with a view that further dates could be required later in the year. This role requires someone who has experience working with children aged 4-6 and a clear understanding of child development particularly in the Early Years. You must be available immediately and be happy to have a DBS check processed.

Duties:

  • Planning and delivery of age-appropriate Early Years activities
  • Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and safety standards
  • Establishing a calm, secure environment for young children
  • Supporting children's emotional, social, and physical development
  • Acting as the main point of contact for Early Years-related matters on site

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children aged 4-6
  • A calm, patient, and highly professional manner
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and child development in the Early Years
