The purpose of this role is to support with warehouse operative needs and take ownership of your duties in an effective manner.
The Technical Operator is responsible for supporting inbound and outbound logistics processes, inventory management, material handling, and maintaining accurate warehouse records.
Duties: Perform inbound and outbound warehouse activities by accurately registering incoming and outgoing materials through computerized systems and established procedures.
Ensure all warehouse transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
Support the efficient flow of goods throughout the warehouse.
Conduct regular inventory and stock control activities.
Assist with stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies when identified.
Perform feeding, sorting, and movement of materials using appropriate warehouse equipment, tools, and handling methods.
Ensure materials are stored, handled, and transported safely and efficiently.
Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements: Minimum GCSE standard in English and Mathematics.
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
Experience with inventory management and warehouse processes is preferred.
Experience using SAP software or similar warehouse management systems.
Competent in using computerized inventory and warehouse systems.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
