Store Assistant Locations: Bracknell, Ascot, Alton, Leatherhead & Walton About the Role We are looking for reliable and hardworking Store Assistants to join our teams across our clients locations in Bracknell, Ascot, Alton, Leatherhead and Walton. The role will be varied and hands-on, with responsibility for helping to ensure the store is well stocked, organised and running efficiently. You will be involved in receiving deliveries, checking and putting away stock, replenishing shelves and assisting customers when required. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a practical, busy working environment, takes pride in keeping things organised and is comfortable working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload deliveries safely and efficiently. Check deliveries against orders and report any discrepancies or damaged goods. Move, organise and store stock in the appropriate locations. Replenish shelves and maintain good stock levels. Ensure products are displayed neatly and in the correct locations. Keep stockrooms, storage areas and shop-floor areas clean, tidy and organised. Assist with stock checks and regular stocktaking. Help monitor stock levels and highlight any shortages or issues. Prepare stock for customer collection or delivery where required. Assist with general store duties and maintain a safe working environment. Provide friendly and helpful customer service when required. Assist customers with locating products and answering basic queries. Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store. Follow company procedures relating to health & safety, stock handling and customer service. Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the Store Manager. Skills & Experience We are looking for someone who: Is reliable, punctual and hardworking. Has a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved. Is organised and has good attention to detail. Is physically able to handle deliveries and move stock safely. Works well independently as well as part of a team. Has good communication and customer service skills. Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Can follow instructions and company procedures. Has a flexible approach to the role and is willing to undertake a variety of duties.Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, stockroom or customer service environment would be beneficial, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
