Quality Technician

Woking

£28,000 per annum

Overview:

We are looking for a Quality Technician to support quality standards across a growing business. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to inspect products, investigate quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out first-off, in-process, final and incoming inspections.
• Conduct factory inspections to identify and prevent quality issues.
• Use verniers, micrometres, gauges and visual inspection techniques.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
• Work with production teams to reduce defects and improve quality.
• Support customer and supplier quality investigations.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ERP documentation.
• Support new product introduction, internal audits and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Promote right-first-time working and continuous improvements.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, production, assembly, maintenance, warehousing or a similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Methodical approach and ability to follow quality procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; ERP and inspection equipment experience is advantageous.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
