About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our growing team based in Petersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
- Managing payroll data, including starters, leavers, and changes to employee records.
- Calculating statutory payments, deductions, overtime, and pensions.
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
- Submitting payroll information and reports as required.
- Responding to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining confidential payroll records and documentation.
- Supporting payroll audits and year-end processes.
Requirements
- Previous payroll experience is essential.
- Experience using Sage Payroll and/or BrightPay is required.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
- Strong communication and administrative skills.
- Due to the location and nature of the role, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
