Faith Associates is looking to recruit a Social Media Intern to engage with online communities through our various social media channels, which include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. You will be based in our office and work closely with researchers. This role would suit someone looking to gain experience in social media management and campaigning experience.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Manage social media marketing activities focusing on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and others as appropriate.
- Ensure each channel is scheduled and filled with content in line with campaigns set by marketing managers.
- Work closely with Faith Associates researchers and writers.
- Expand the reach of social media activities, e.g., tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking and increasing social reach.
- Source and develop content (including stories, videos and pictures) to be used across social media channels using the appropriate tone-of-voice.
- Monitor trends on Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Experience:
- A passion for social media and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a complicated workload.
- A knowledge of social media platforms and how to optimise them.
- Experience of contributing to Marketing & Communications activities.
Qualities:
- Excellent verbal and written communicator, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Displays high energy and able to motivate self and others.
- Have a positive, can-do and resilient attitude.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
