This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. You will lead by influence within a cross-functional pod, setting direction and quality while remaining deeply hands-on.
Job Responsibilities

- Plan, conduct, and synthesise qualitative research interviews (user/stakeholder interviews, concept evaluations); translate insights into clear design opportunities and requirements.
- Create journey maps and service flows, define information architecture, and design interaction models that reduce complexity for expert users.
- Produce wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes; iterate quickly based on feedback, usability testing, and data.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure feasible implementation, high-quality execution, and strong UX details (states, errors, empty states, edge cases).
- Contribute to our Trade & Working Capital digital experience vision, roadmap, prioritisation, and planning with PM/Engineering; advocate for user outcomes with evidence.
- Raise quality through critique and design reviews; provide guidance to more junior and/or external designers through feedback and lightweight mentoring.
