In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in‑house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2–3 end‑to‑end multi‑country Payroll implementations as a Lead.
- Experience working in large, complex programs with global delivery models.
- Expertise with SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors EC Payroll, or other enterprise payroll platforms.
This role requires travel to Manchester, UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle Payroll implementations across UK, Ireland, and Sweden, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct country‑specific payroll workshops to capture statutory rules, union requirements, local policies, and organizational processes.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional designs and support technical teams with integration specifications.
- Oversee data migration strategy, validation rules, conversion templates, and reconciliation of legacy payroll data.
- Ensure payroll solution compliance with local tax laws, statutory regulations, pensions, social security, and reporting norms.
- Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, parallel payroll runs, and payroll sign‑off processes.
- Provide leadership during mock runs, cutover, go‑live, and hyper‑care support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Payroll process owners, HR leads, and local country stakeholders.
- Deliver clear communication, documentation updates, and risk/issue reports to project leadership.
