A governance of dynamic corporate environment, focusing on high-level architecture across the Software Development Life Cycle. The role involves creating high quality design artifacts, conducting technical feasibility studies and delivering solutions with a strong emphasis on SAP ABAP, RAP, AIF & API technologies in an onshore/offshore collaboration setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across requirements elicitation, architecture definition and design.
  • Produce high‑quality design artifacts.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and identify efficient delivery approaches for client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with offshore/onshore team members.
  • Participate in a learning culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration and diversity.

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Hands‑on experience with S/4 HANA ABAP (latest releases).
  • Experience working with Eclipse and ADLC.
  • Proficiency in ABAP S/4HANA including Workflows, AMDP, CDS, BRF+, BOPF.
  • Knowledge of REST API, SOAP API, OData, SAP AIF, in‑app extensibility and Adobe forms.
  • Experience creating interfaces, reports based on RAP, AIF monitoring, Service provider/consumer, monitoring with SRT_UTIL, IDOCs (Inbound/Outbound), Idoc extensions, DRF.
  • Extensive ABAP/4 programming (ALV, Interactive & Classical reports, OSS Notes, Smart Forms, Menu Painter, User Exits, BADI, RFC, Dialog programming, Data Dictionary).
  • Planning, design, development, implementation and testing for scripts, custom reports, user enhancements, dialog programming, custom objects such as Z‑tables and match codes.
  • Customisation of Fiori Apps.
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP runtime analysis tools (SE30), SQL trace (ST05), system dump analysis (ST22), performance tuning, problem resolution and capacity planning.

Preferred

  • Experience in life science or pharmaceutical vertical.
  • Multilingual proficiency; English required.
