In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. The Manhattan WMS Principal Consultant will be an addition to our existing 24X7 Production Support team.
Required:
- A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Warehouse Management domain with strong experience in Manhattan WMS.
- Strong working experience in multiple versions of Manhattan WMS (including 2018 and lower versions).
- Strong working experience of KiSoft (KNAPP) and DAI WCS applications.
- Excellent working experience of inbound, outbound and inventory control functionalities of Manhattan WMS.
- Provide L1 / L2 production support for WMS and WCS incidents.
- Provide quick resolution for Critical (P1)/High (P2) incidents to keep the DC operations running.
- Coordinate with the client and the offshore team members to expedite the fixes to production issues.
- Participate in meetings with clients to assess integration requirements with upstream and downstream partner applications like SAP/TIBCO/OMNI/BY TMS/nShift/Avery Dennison, etc.
- Analyse Production Support tickets to identify trends/patterns and propose fixes to eliminate them.
- Document the functionality and configuration and suggest best practices to improve the throughput of the warehouse.
- Perform functional testing as required.
- Understand the solution recommended and explore alternatives based on research and build proof-of-concepts.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Major, Critical and High Priority incidents.
- Strong experience as a functional lead consultant to gather requirements from business users.
- Strong Root Cause Analysis skills to identify and resolve existing design gaps.
- Track record of leading and inspiring a mixed-skill team of 5-8 members.
- Coordinate with project teams and client stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor project milestones.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly status reporting ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal coaching/mentoring.
- Ability to work independently with vendor product application teams like Manhattan, DAI, Knapp, Locus, RFID, nShift etc., to review, acquire sign-off, and integrate their solutions.
- Ability to work independently with upstream and downstream partner applications like SAP/TIBCO/OMNI/BY TMS/nShift/Avery Dennison, etc.
- Experience in System Configuration to implement the system designs.
- This role requires travel to Manchester.
